Holders Hadleigh hit back to stay in touch with play off finish

A goal and assists from Tom Warren handed Hadleigh a come from behind victory at Millfield.

The victory keeps sixth placed Brettsiders in touch with a play-off finish, especially as they have three games in hand over four of the five teams ahead of them in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Premier Division.

Angus Mills levelled for Hadleigh midway through the first half after they went down to an early goal.

Warren, who along with Ethan Mayhew, had played a part in the equaliser, then headed home what proved to be the winner a minute before th break after good work from jack Baker.

Steve Holder's Hadleigh continue their campaign on Tuesday night when they entertain Mulbarton Wanderers.
