Goals from Louie Bloom and Harry Brown got Steve Holder's Hadleigh United back to winning ways with a 2-0 home win over Ely City.

It was sweet revenge for Hadleigh after they lost at Ely 3-2 on the opening day of the season, and much needed after two home defeats last week.

The win leaves the Brettsiders in fourth place in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division.

They now face three tough away games before entertaining Sheringham at Millfield on March 25.
