Any hopes Hadleigh may have harboured about table topping Felixstowe focusing on the league and playing a weakened side in their Suffolk Premier Cup quarter final tonight have been dashed.

Seasiders boss Stuart Boardley has made it clear winning the competition, again, is a stated pre-season aim and has no plans to significantly change the side, that beat Enfield 5-1 on Saturday, for the tie at the AGL Arena (kick off 7.45pm)

Club skipper Billy Holland came off the bench on Saturday, while Academy products Kubi Kasan and Ivanhildo Da Costa both played a part.

Felixstowe's phenomenal form has seen manager Stuart Boardley scoop the October Manager of the Month and is hopeful the good run continues tonight by making good use of his strong squad.

"The starting 11 are working hard to keep shirts," said Boardley. "We wont be changing it a lot. Hadleigh are good side and I want to go and win this competition.

"One of the targets pre-season was to progress to the final of this competition and we have the opportunity to do that.

"It is really important we don't take Hadleigh lightly and we will be putting out a strong side."

Felixstowe won four and drew one, scoring 18 goals and conceding just three, during October to go top of the Isthmian League North for a while, Although Lowestoft's 4-0 win at Redbridge last night saw them leapfrog the Seasiders.

Kick off at the AGL Arena is 7.45pm, bar open.
