Taste the freedom in Hadleigh

The sun has begun to shine and we have started to see the easing of lockdown restrictions, allowing us the freedom in our lives to get back to the things we love doing, things we haven't experienced for some time like eating out, meeting up with friends and family, being together and loving food.

A weight has been lifted across Hadleigh and surrounding areas following the recent return to Slimming World groups with the easing of covid restrictions. Members can now book to attend Kate's Hadleigh groups every Thursday morning and evening.

Safety measures are in place, such as social distancing, face masks and hand sanitizers to keep everyone safe.

Kate said: " We are delighted that our groups can now come back together and get the extra motivation and all the support that members love"

Kate who lost 3½ stone with Slimming Worlds food optimising plan in 2014 is an expert in helping members lose weight. Free Food is the most liberating and sustainable way to lose weight without having to restrict yourself or set yourself apart.

"Faddy diets may work in the short term by drastically cutting calorie intake, but a diet that isn't practical – for instance, that needs endless monitoring or counting, leaves us feeling hungry or deprived of our favourite foods, or means we can't eat in the same way as our friends and family – is going to be very difficult to keep up.

"As soon as we go back to our old way of eating, we'll stop losing weight and are likely to regain the weight we lost." from Dr Jacquie Lavin, Slimming World Head of Nutrition and Scientific Affairs:

Kate added: "We are also welcoming new members every week who want to taste the freedom after a challenging 15 months."

Obesity is huge in the news and Slimming World offers a safe, effective method suitable for all. Through losing weight and with encouragement to become more active, at a pace that suits the individual, it provides an opportunity for a healthier lifestyle.
