National charity, Deafblind UK has partnered with deafblind artist, Ava Jolliffe to create a collection of digital artwork which is being sold as NFT's this Deafblind Awareness Week.

The collection of artwork is called 'Spark' and is designed to bring inspiration and empowerment to those living with deafblindness.

Ava Jolliffe is a young artist who has Brown Vialetto van Laere Syndrome which means she is deaf, blind and uses a wheelchair. She creates incredible digital artwork, despite living a very different life than your typical 15-year-old girl!

Steve Conway, CEO of Deafblind UK said: "We are incredibly proud to have the opportunity to work with Ava on this project. She is shining example of everyone who has overcome adversity and achieved great things despite having dual sensory loss."

Ava's love of artwork and graphic design started early in her life and have been a beacon of light for Ava and her family. Her work has been featured in several galleries and on the BBC. She said: "I am very happy to show that being deafblind does not have to have limits, I am an artist and I want people to understand that although have disabilities I also have abilities and we should focus on what I can do versus what I can't do"

This is the first NFT collection Ava has released and is a unique opportunity to own one of the first NFT's created by this talented young artist. The project was created in conjunction with Fungii Studios, a company which helps NGOs and Charities to launch their own NFT projects to support their missions with the generous help of the crypto community.

The collection was launched during Deafblind Awareness Week runs from 27th June – 3rd July. Proceeds from the collection will support Deafblind UK and Ava's passion for graphic design.
