Sunday update: Police focusing on incident at Edwin Panks Road, near Hadleigh High School.

Police are this evening investigating a sudden death in Hadleigh.

Officers were today called to an incident in the town after a person was found dead in the Edwin Panks Road area, near Hadleigh High School.

The unexplained sudden death is currently subject to further police enquiries, pending the outcome of the post-mortem examination.

An air ambulance also landed in the town, as other emergency services responded.

Police have confirmed that no stabbing incident has occurred in the town today, despite rumours circulating in Hadleigh that a business owner was involved in such an incident.
