Did you know?

Today is St Andrew's Day, and given the amount of sweaty socks (Jocks) we have here, it seems only right to recognise their patron saint and what they have brought to the world, That includes the Krankies, Donald Trump and haggis.

St Andrew is also the patron saint of fishing and golf, which shows he was not all bad.

Joke of the day:

An Englishman American and a Scotsman were in a pub, talking about their sons.

"My son was born on St George's Day," commented the Englishman. "So we obviously decided to call him George."

"That's a real coincidence," remarked the Scot. "My son was born on St Andrew's Day, so we decided to call him Andrew."

"That's incredible, what a coincidence," said the American Republican.

"I can't wait to go home and tell our Pancake."
