Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a man armed with a crowbar robbed a post office in Lavenham.

The incident happened on Friday 29 July at 11.25am when the man, who was dressed in dark clothing, gloves and a black balaclava, entered the post office located inside the visitor information centre in Lady Street and demanded money.

He made off with around £600 and left in a grey/silver SEAT car.

Anyone who has dashcam footage or information that could help the inquiry is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/48339/22.
