A come from behind victory ensured Hadleigh's season ended on a high with a 2-1 win over Newmarket Town at Millfield.

All the goals came in the second half as Hadleigh levelled with an own goal after Matty Hayden had given the Jockeys the lead.

Jordan Patrick popped up with the winner as the Brettsiders ended a seven game winless run.

The win meant Steve Holder's side finished ninth in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Premier Division.

This victory aside, it was a disappointing end to a season where hadleigh had been on a club record ten match unbeaten run, with nine wins and a draw.
