Hadleigh boss Steve Holder praised his side despite going down 3-2 at home to Cambridge City in the FA Cup extra preliminary round.

Daniel Cotton netted the first and last goals, with his 75th minute strike won it for the Northern Premier league side, after Hadleigh had edge in front

Stefan Broccoli, who had scored in Saturday's abounded match, equalised for City after Tom Warren had given the Brettsiders a 2-1 half-time lead following Asa Miliard's seventh minute leveller.

After being 3-0 down at half time before the officials called off the game due to the rain on Saturday, Holder was delighted with his side's reaction.
