Just as Hadleigh United thought they had done enough to take all three points at Downham Town they were thwarted by a 94th minute equaliser.

Tom Warren put the Brettsiders in front after heading in a Lloyd Clarke cross but Town levelled through Fletcher Toll.

Skipper Carlos Edwards put Hadleigh back in front from the penalty spot after Ollie Dunlop was fouled in the box.

But deep into time added on the hosts snatched a point as Patrick Yates got to a good corner to head in.

Hadleigh make the short trip to beleaguered Brantham on Saturday.
