Multi Ballon D'Or winner Ronaldo may be without a club right now after leaving Manchester United but he won't be short of offers to sign for a new club once the World Cup is over.

Among the offers Ronaldo's agent will be sifting through is a cheeky move by Hadleigh United Veteran's after assistant manager Graham 'Fridge' Mayer. (See full letter to agent below)

The tantalising offer includes a room in club member Carl Beer, available now his daughter has gone to university, a free number 7 shirt, although Ronaldo may have to grow into it as it is a 2XL,

As he is now 37, Ronaldo meets the criteria to play for Hadleigh's Vets (you have to be over-35), and will be given a clear specific role within the team to ensure the side get over their Desmond run (they have had four 2-2 draws in their seven fixtures, and have not managed to get three goals in a match yet.

As Hadleigh Vets play on a Sunday in the Norfolk & Suffolk Veterans League, it is understood they would allow Ronaldo to sign a dual registration

The former Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United forward has played more than 1,000 top level games, scored more than 800 senior goals and has been assured by Hadleigh he would e able to use the swimming pool and sauna to help with his post match recovery.

There is a concern the Portugal national team captain, probably would not be able to make his debut until well into the new year due to a two match suspension after being suspended for hitting fan's phone of his hands following a game against Everton.

If he were to sign, be selected, Hadleigh Vets fans could see him line up at Millfield, or Layham Road Sports pitch, against AFC Kesgrave Vets on March 5.

Meanwhile, The Vets' next home match is on Sunday, 4 December with a 2pm kick off in the NSVL Shield.
