Hadleigh United sign former Ipswich Town star

Hadleigh boss Steve Holder has made his first signing of the summer by securing the services of ex-Ipswich Town midfielder Carlos Edwards.

Former Trinidad & Tobago international Edwards has signed from Bury Town and the Brettsiders have promised even more exciting deals are on the way.

Edwards, now aged 44, has enjoyed career at Wolves, Millwall, Sunderland, Luton and Wrexham in addition to the five years with Ipswich Town.

He made made nearly 200 appearances for the Blues after signing £1.35million from the Black Cats.
