Hadleigh were so short of numbers for their trip to Sheringham player-manager Steve Holder was the only person on the bench.

Coaches Liam Scopes and Ben Elliott were both pressed into action as they busy schedule took its toll.

Archie Galley beat Nick Punter with a superb free kick to put the hosts ahead.

Jamie Smith took advantage of a huge deflection that left Punter stranded to double the lead.

However, Harvey was on target from the Brettsiders to keep the score respectable in a gutsy display.

Hadleigh go to relegated Haverhill tomorrow night (Thursday) and wrap up their season at Millfield on Saturday against Newmarket Town.
