From bonfire night fireworks to live music, here's what's on this weekend in Hadleigh, for all the family to enjoy.

Hadleigh Fireworks:

What only comes around once a every year, promises to light up the sky on bonfire night, with a Hadleigh firework display, Gates Open at 6:30pm Display starts at 7:30pm with a Licensed Bar / Hot Food.

Location: The Millfield, The Hadleigh Millfield, Tinkers Lane, Hadleigh Suffolk IP7 5N.

Date and Time: Friday 5th November 7:30pm

Price: £5 for Adults £4 for U16'S U5'S Go free.

Sue's Acoustic:

Live Music from Sue Paradine, with a bar and drinks its sure to be a chilled and great evening.

Location: The Cobblers, 76 High St, Hadleigh, Ipswich IP7 5EF

Time: Friday 5th November 8-11pm

Price: Entry Free

The U3A Monthly Meeting:

The speaker for the November meeting is Linda, a trustee of Wherry Maud Trust, talks about "Maud", the only clinker-built trading wherry still sailing on the Norfolk rivers and broads. The talk sets the scene with general information about the various uses of Norfolk wherries. You will then see photos of the vessel's working life and her 18-year restoration to sailing order. Finally Linda will speak about the charity and how "Maud" is now maintained and operated today.

We then break for tea/coffee, biscuits and chat.

If you have never been to a u3a meeting why not come along and see how you like it? You'll be most welcome.
