With plenty to do in the Hadleigh area this weekend, here are our top picks.

Evolution @ The Rose and Crown

Saturday will see the acoustic duo Evolution coming to The Rose and Crown in Elmsett.

With lead vocals by Sarah Dawes and guitar and vocals by Adam Keeton, prepare for a fantastic set of songs from the '60s to the present day.

Grab a drink and listen to some great tunes. What could be better?

Flicks in the Sticks: King Richard

Once again, Hollywood comes to Monks Eleigh on Sunday as Flicks in the Sticks continue at Monks Eleigh Village Hall.

This week the Oscar nominated King Richard will be shown. Based on a true story, it follows the story of Richard Williams (played by Will Smith) an undeterred father, who is instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinary gifted athletes of all time who will end up changing the sport of tennis forever.

Ticket prices also includes complimentary coffee or tea with a biscuit or two.

Hadleigh Folk & Acoustic Music Nights - Phil Lyons / Roswell

Hadleigh Folk & Acoustic Music Nights continues on Friday night at the Ansell Centre.

The evening's main guests will be Roswell. Zoë Wren and Jasmine Watkiss are harmony-obsessed multi-instrumentalists who formed a duo after an impromptu Cambridgeshire gig in 2018. They have also won Purbeck Rising 2018 and their debut EP won the Fatea EP of the Year Award in 2019.

The featured guest for the evening, Phil Lyons, is a Colchester-based guitarist and singer of traditional and contemporary songs who has performed at Hadleigh on several occasions in the past, as a solo artist and in the groups Bof! and Rosewood.
