It is February already and, as the time whizzes by, the weekend is soon approaching. With plenty to do in the Hadleigh area this weekend, here are our top picks.

1. Country line dancing class

Want to learn something different and have some fun in the process? Hitcham Village Hall will be the new home for boot stompin' line dancing classes every Friday evening.

Routines will range from beginner to experienced so anyone can join in.

2. Jax&Co at The Eight Bells

Also on Friday, Jax&Co will be performing at The Eight Bells. Jax&Co are a Johnny Cash tribute act so expect all the best hits of the great Johnny Cash.

3.Flicks in the Sticks @ Monks Eleigh Village Hall

Sunday will bring another installment of Flicks in the Sticks at Monks Eleigh Village Hall.

This weekend the film will be Summerland, a World War II story of reclusive writer Alice (played by Gemma Arterton) who has her sequestered life upended when Frank, an evacuee from the London Blitz, is left in her care.

Despite initially resolving to be rid of him, Alice finds herself and her emotions reawakened by him.

Tickets are available for purchase on the door with the ticket price including a complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.
