A main route in and out of Hadleigh was partially blocked for hours today after two vans collided.

Suffolk police confirmed oo one was injured but both vehicles were badly damaged in the collision on the junction with Angel Street and Aldham Road at around 10.30 am this morning.

Officers attended although no arrests were made after statutory legal checks on both drivers, one a delivery driver, and the other a telecoms worker.

Recovery vehicles were called and that added to hold ups as the smashed up vehicles were loaded up.

Motorists were held up Lady Lane, and at the junction with Mill Green and Aldham Road following the incident.
