Two more Hadleigh Together councillors have resigned from the town council.

Carl Beer and Ben Dixon, who stood for election in the Hadleigh South ward, in last year's by-elections, have both quit, with each understood have tendered their resignations today.

No reasons have yet been given and both have been approached for comment.

Mayor Frank Minns, who is also the leader of the town council and Hadleigh Together, which is no longer registered as an official political party, has also been asked to comment.

Beer and Dixon's resignations follow those of former Hadleigh Together councillors Lisa Gordon and Richard Hinton, who left the council late last year, after being elected in 2019.
