Another former Hadleigh Together councillor James Bayliss resigns

James Bayliss, one of the two councillors that claimed fellow members should be shot, has resigned.

Mr Bayliss became the third Hadleigh Together member to quit this month, following in the wake two more last September, including his partner in crime Richard Hinton, who also made the shooting suggestion.

Like Carl Beer and Ben Dixon, Mr Bayliss has not aired his reasons publicly why he resigned, as the beleaguered town council faces accusations of bully and intimidation.

Hadleigh Together party leader and town mayor Frank Minns suffered a major set back last night when fellow councillors refused to back him in his bid to exclude a member that called him a fool, from a monthly meeting. Full story here
