Fail to stop - Somersham and Bildeston **Amendment to day

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop incident that took place in Somersham and Bildeston.

It happened on Wednesday 7 April at 4pm.

A dark coloured BMW estate was seen driving around Somersham. Officers had reason to request the vehicle stop in a recreation park in Somersham before it failed to do so and then drove at officers in their vehicle and again failed to stop.

A pursuit of the vehicle then took place before officers lost sight of the vehicle in the Bildeston area. No-one was hurt in the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has knowledge of who the vehicle belongs to or knows who was driving it should contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference 37/17251/21.
