An added attraction will be installed at the Corks Lane play area after Hadleigh councillors approved funding.

Cllr Andrew Knock called for a new large slide at the play park popular with Hadleigh families and won support of colleagues.

The council will now conduct a site survey and obtain quotes and provide funds.

The slide will be the latest addition to the play area, which now boast new swings and a wheelchair accessible train.

Cllr Knock was instrumental in getting new swings, including one for babies and toddlers to be able to use safely.

They are now in place and being well used.
