More than 60 dogs joined in The Greyhound Trust's monthly walk in Hadleigh on Sunday.

A mixed bunch of well behaved dogs, they didn't even chase the sheep at St Marys Church, along with their owners enjoyed a sunny Sunday stroll through the town.

After meeting at the Magdalene Road car park the four-legged and two legged took part in an hour long walk ending up at The George for the much needed rehydration.

Two of the greyhounds, siblings Max and Zola ventured out of the kennels for the first time and were praised for the way they integrated with the variety of other dogs, along with geese and ducks they encountered along the river walk.

Both are being prepared for new owners, which includes what the Trust describes as a man-operation, but other greyhounds are available to be adopted.

Suffolk's Greyhound Trust rehome the animals, some former dogs bred for racing, and more details can be found here or by calling Avril on 01473 328154 or contacting [email protected]

The Greyhound Trust welcome everyone and all breeds of dogs on most walks – check individual walk details on their website here.
