Man punched from behind in Hadleigh High Street attack

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a man was assaulted in Hadleigh High Street.

The assault took place on Saturday 6 May between 1.30pm and 2.30pm as the victim was walking along a path near to the Little Ginger Bee Company shop.

The victim was punched in the back of the head by someone who approached him from behind, causing him to fall to the ground. He was then punched in the side of the head. The incident caused injuries to his hands, legs and head.

The suspect then drove off down Bridge Street in a dark blue Peugeot car. He is described as a white male, aged about 25 years old with short ginger hair and wearing a grey tracksuit.
