Nub News gets a special inside into a photographer's amazing shots of Hadleigh town

Martin Neill has been photographing for less than two years, he said: "It first started during lockdown, when we used to have our one hour of exercise; me and my brother would take pictures just for entertainment purposes.

"Then I expanded on it and showed it to my hairdresser and she said 'wow theses are really good' and that I had got an eye for it, and it just grew arms and legs from there really.

"Myself and my brother would just pick a theme each time we would go out, such as sign posts or twisted trees and take half a dozen shots for Facebook."

Martin says for these stunning shots, that he simply uses his iPhone 6s, he calls this style "phone-tography", he said: "You don't always need flashy equipment to find photography."

Martin's favourite time of year to take photos is in autumn or winter.

Heres a list of some of Martin's best spots in Hadleigh for a stunning photograph: The church, the deanery tower, the river walk and the high street.

Martin said: "If you ever see me you'll probably find me lying on the pavement trying to get the maximum light exposure."

He said: " I like doing photography as a hobby and I like to use my prints to donate to local charities."

Martin is looking to do a Hadleigh calendar to raise money for charity and will be trying to create one next year. Martin had a message to those who have helped him thus far: "I would like to thank my wife Sarah for her support and Lorna Grant, who has been pivotal in promoting my photography and giving me the platform to share my images."
