Hadleigh Nursing Home has further cemented its commitment to the town's community by teaming up with Hadleigh Nub News.

Set in beautiful, relaxing countryside, Hadleigh Nursing Home is home to many residents with roots in the town and surrounding villages. The care home has agreed a sponsorship deal with Nub, News, which was launched in August to serve the area with its unique brand of community news, sport, features and support for local businesses with free local list advertising.

A banner proclaiming the mutual partnership was unveiled in Friars Road by the cricket club, which Hadleigh Nursing Home has also sponsored as part of its commitment to local clubs.

Georgina Johnson, Kingsley Health regional operations manager said: "For Hadleigh Nursing Home in particular it is about sponsoring a local news platform that we can work closely with to get out all the good work we do and also all the good work local groups and companies do for the home.

"For example, we work close with the Hadleigh Hub, providing hand sanitisers and face coverings for the they go out shopping for the elderly community and It is about that sort of partnership working Kingsley are really keen to do."

Derek Davis, Nub News regional editor who currently manages the Hadleigh website, welcomed the tie up and said: "Kingsley Homes community ethos, perfectly displayed by the actions of all the staff at Hadleigh Nursing Home, complements everything that Nub New is about.

"We welcome this sponsorship and look forward to working closing with Jan and her team within the Hadleigh area, and with Georgina on a wider level."
