A Hadleigh man is set to face a Crown Court trial next year after pleading not guilty of wounding with intent.

Louis Morris, aged 20, of Bradfield Avenue, Hadleigh, is alleged to have assaulted Paul Bignell on July 1, 2018 but denied the charges at a plea and preparation hearing at Ipswich Crown Court last Friday.

Judge Emma Peters informed Morris that his trial will take place during a two week warned list commencing November 15 next year with a further case management hearing on October 8.

Morris' bail conditions were continued and he must sleep each night at his address at Bradfield Avenue, Hadleigh.
