Hadleigh library closed for deep clean after staff member tests positive for Covid

Hadleigh Library will stay closed this week after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

The library building over two floors on the High Street will be deep cleaned and library is expected to reopen next week on Tuesday 22nd December.

Suffolk Library staff are acting a safety precaution after the service became aware of the positive test result. The library is closed on Mondays and usually reopens on Tuesday's but will not open this morning.

A spokesman for Suffolk Libraries said: "We would like to reassure customers that all staff have been closely following safety procedures to minimise any transmission risk.

"We apologise to customers for any inconvenience. Customers can still return items using the library's dropbox or visit any other Suffolk library.
