Our client who are an International supplier of packaging components are looking to recruit a Machine setter / packaging operative to join their team on a perm basis.

Duties include

Inspection and packing of plastic bottles as they come off the production line.

Future scope - Subject to applicant and further training the role could broaden to encompass more technical duties to include machine setting and trouble shooting.

Setting up machines

Ensuring the product is in line with company specs

Job requirments

The successful applicant will be reliable, hardworking with the ability to work on their own and part of a team as required.

Own transport is essential to be available on all shift patterns.

Previous experience to include engineering or mechanical background will be beneficial.

For training and health & safety reasons the applicant is required to be able to understand, speak and read English.

Working hours

Rotating shift work. 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am (weekly)

Salary: Starting at £19,000 to £22,000 DOE
