Hadleigh High School has issues an apology to parents of pupils angered at the lack of communication about their children returning to school.

Many parents of Year Seven pupils complained the first time they knew about the High School's plans to open the class for the new students was through Hadleigh Nub News, (full story here) and when it was shared on social media sites.

Penrose Learning Trust sent out an email on Sunday evening but many people did not receive it then and were unaware of how RAAC concrete issue had affected the school, and its staggered student return dates.

The school said in a statement: "We wish to sincerely apologise, as it has become apparent that our new Year 7 parents may not have received communication sent on behalf of the CEO of the Trust on Sunday evening, relating to the RAAC concrete issue and subsequently your child's return to school. This was out of our control, and now this has been brought to our attention we are working hard to resolve this matter."

One parent contacted Nub News to say thank you for keeping them informed and how upset they had been with the school's failure to communicate better.
