Man taken to Addenbrookes hospital following crash.

Fire crews from Hadleigh were among four appliances sent to a serious road traffic collision on the B1115 near to Bildeston this morning.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue also mobilised crews from Sudbury, Long Melford, and Bury St Edmunds.

The air ambulance was in attendance along with paramedics and police.

Police have confirmed a collision took place between a van and a bus near the junction for the B1141 turn-off.

A spokeswoman from the East of England Ambulance service said: "We were called at 7.31am with reports of a collision on the B1115, Semer.

"We sent two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Ambulance.

"One person was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital by air ambulance for further care."

The road was closed for some time as recovery work took place.
