{my}dentist in Hadleigh has confirmed its Meadows Way practice is up for sale.

The company admit no deal is imminent and the future of the last remaining NHS dentist in Hadleigh remains uncertain.

No plans have been finalised to close the practice and MyDentist hopes any new buyer will continue to offer dental treatment.

Potential customers have been told no new NHS patients will be accepted, and the NHS website confirms that is the case.

A spokesperson for {my}dentist told Nub News: "There are no plans to close the dental practice. We are exploring the option of selling the practice, but that is very much with a view to dental provision continuing under new ownership.

"We will keep patients informed of any practice changes."

Inconsistent messaging has been coming out of the practice itself leading to many patients believing the practice will close in the new year.
