It is bad news good news for Hadleigh dental patients who can no longer get treatment at a practice, while it changes hands.

Patients at {my}dentist in Meadow Way, Hadleigh, have been turned away from the practice, although a person in reception is offering refunds to those affected.

It is hoped an interim dentist can be found to service the surgery, while the sale to the new buyer is completed.

A spokesperson for {my}dentist said: "We can confirm that we have a buyer for the dental practice and the sale should complete in the coming months.

"We can also confirm that dental provision will continue under the new ownership.

"Unfortunately, we don't have a clinician in the practice at the moment, but we are working hard to recruit a dentist in the interim.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience, and we will keep patients updated."

Hadleigh Nub News exclusively revealed in December that the practice was up for sale and would be closing to all patients, which at the time was no longer taking people requiring NHS treatment.

Patients contacted Nub News to tell us of their experiences and widespread dissatisfaction at the lack of clarity.

Assurances were given the practice would stay open but that has proved not to be the case.

Full story here.

Tell us about your experiences, have you moved elsewhere? Will you stick with {my}dentist and return when the new buyer is in place?
