Girl Guides in Hadleigh have been given £3,000 boost for a trip to the Guiding World Centre in London.

The 5th Hadleigh St Mary's Girl Guides, based at the Community Primary School in Station Road, were awarded the grant by the town council, earlier this month.

Councillor Angela Wiltshire backed a proposal by Cllr McLeod to award the grant for the guides' visit to Pax Lodge.

Meanwhile, councillors also backed Clr Huw Roberts' proposal to spend up to £,3000 from the Climate budget to be spent on additional support for Warm Space attendees focusing on energy saving measures.
