Hadleigh's Community First Responders are putting their new car to good use, attended 21 calls in September arriving first on scene in every case.

The calls include unconscious, stroke, breathing difficulty, chest pains, diabetic emergencies, falls and to others generally unwell, and have seen us travel to Lavenham, Raydon and the outskirts of Ipswich as well as covering the length and breadth of Hadleigh.

I have been volunteering single handed since the start of the pandemic and have only managed to cover 296hrs of duty in September so I am glad to be able to tell you that Yvonne has now been allowed to rejoin us on the front line of NHS responding.
