A Hadleigh care home has hosted its own dog show for members of the community and their furry friends.

Staff at Waterfield House care home hosted a series of fun competitions throughout the day including best costume, best trick, waggiest tail, most adorable, dog most like its owner, best moves, and young handler.

The residents were thrilled to see so many dogs at their home and really enjoyed getting involved in the day's activities.

Pat Woods, a resident at Waterfield House, enjoyed being the assistant judge, she said: "I had a fantastic time looking at all the dogs, they were all very well-behaved, and we had lovely weather for the day too. I cannot wait for the next show."

The winners of the competition received their very own Runwood Rosettes to show off their achievement.

Visitors enjoyed a selection of refreshments throughout the day, provided by Oscars Mobile Catering.

The Waterfield House dog show is just one of many events that the home has organised.

The team are always looking for ways to welcome in the wider community and to host events that everyone can enjoy.
