Firefighters extinguish High Street flat blaze

SUFFOLK firefighters attended and dealt with a fire in a flat in Hadleigh today (Sunday, 25 May).
An alarm was raised when the fire at the premises on High Street was discovered at 1.28pm.
Crews from Hadleigh, Sudbury and Prince's Street Ipswich attended the second floor flat and used high pressure jet hoses to extinguish the fire.
All persons were accounted for.
Police dealt with traffic issues while the fire was being dealt with and the incident was declared closed at 3.34pm.
