MOTORISTS using the A1071 between Hadleigh and Hintlesham this morning (Tuesday, 14 May) were delayed following a crash.

It happened on a bend close to Hintlesham Hall Hotel just before 7am and emergency services attended in numbers to deal with it, and the subsequent issue of an oil spillage.

Police ordered the closure of the road while the incident was dealt with, which took some hours – but the road was reopened mid morning.
