CHEERS to our NEIGHBOURS

A Hadleigh man has called on fellow residents in the town to celebrate each other with a special cheer at lunchtime on New Year's Day.

Roger Young said: "Let us demonstrate Hadleigh's amazing community spirit at 1.00 pm lunchtime on New Year's Eve. Stand on your doorstep, with a glass in hand, and say "CHEERS to your NEIGHBOURS".

"We are blessed with support from so many caring residents living in Hadleigh. They deserve our thanks.

"Some members of the Benton Street Interest Group will be doing so. Why not join them?"

Did you know that at 1.01 pm our time, it will be New Year's Day in Melbourne, Australia where NEIGHBOURS was filmed. In Boston, USA where CHEERS was filmed it will only be 8.00 am.
