A man has died following a road traffic collision on the A1141 at Brent Eleigh.

Police were called at 8.20am this morning, Sunday 12 June, to reports of a single-vehicle collision that took place between Brent Eleigh and Monks Eleigh, involving a red Ducati motorcycle.

Paramedics also attended the collision, but the driver of the motorcycle was sadly declared deceased at the scene.

The A1141 was closed in both directions but has now been reopened.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses and asking anyone who was driving in the area with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage for anything that may be of assistance.
