Air Ambulance involved as Hadleigh Boxing day hunt rider taken to hospital

A rider who fell off their horse at the beginning of the traditional Boxing Day Hunt in Hadleigh needed hospital treatment.

An Essex & Herts Air Ambulance landed at Holbecks Park to assist East of England Ambulance Crews treat the rider.

The horse person from the Essex & Suffolk Hunt is understood to have been unseated as the horses and hounds set off on the annual fox hunting event.

Around 1,000 gathered at Holbecks Park to see the gathering of around 15 horse and riders and pack of hounds.
