Chinese New Year 2024 falls on Saturday, February 10 and celebrations culminate with the Lantern Festival on February 24, 2024.

Celebrations last up to 16 days, but only the first seven days are considered a public holiday (February 10–February 26, 2024).

2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon. which is the fifth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac signs, coming after the Rabbit and before the Snake.
