The new development at the former Babergh District Council headquarters will be known as Bowler's Croft, the constriction company has revealed.

A Gipping Construction spokesperson said: "We are happy and proud to announce that we have renewed our sponsorship of Hadleigh Cricket Club for another year.

"The beautiful cricket ground is adjacent to our site at the former Babergh District Council Offices which are being redeveloped into residential accommodation, aptly named 'Bowler's Croft'

"We wish Hadleigh Cricket Club every success for the season ahead and look forward to supporting them and attending their events throughout the year.

"Keep hitting those sixes (we regularly find cricket balls on our side of the boundary!)."
